These terms govern your use of the Movik mobile application and the movik.ai website, operated by Jan Horák ("we", "us"). By using Movik you agree to these terms.
The service
Movik recommends movies based on your taste signals. Recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees — taste is personal and AI is imperfect. Streaming-availability information is provided on a best-effort basis and may lag the streaming services' own catalogs.
Your account
You can use Movik anonymously or with an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Movik.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no scraping, reverse engineering, automated bulk requests, or attempts to disrupt the recommendation engine or other users' experience.
Intellectual property
Movie metadata and poster artwork belong to their respective rights holders and are provided via TMDB. The Movik app, brand, and recommendation engine are our property.
Disclaimer & liability
Movik is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
